Snow On City-maintained Pathway or Sidewalk-WAM (OLD SR) at 399 Cantrell Dr SW

The city pathway that is beside my residence is never cleared of snow although it is a high traffic pedestrian pathway. By this time of year it is a complete block of ice! Very dangerous to walk on and the water then gets pushed into my yard when it melts. This causes excess after to ends up being pushed to the side of my house. My basement has flooded twice because of this. Right now a fellow who lives two blocks up the hill who uses the pathway has been working on clearing the ice.
