Pedestrian and Cycling Pathway - Repair at 1149 Brightoncrest Cm SE
Hi, I am hoping for some information on getting the pathway completed in the New Brighton Athletic Park. The pathway currently stops and forces pedestrians and cyclists to continue on their way through the residential area of New Brighton in order to get back to 52nd street. Parallel to this path is 130th avenue which I see the majority of cyclists using to avoid the inconvenience of cutting through the neighbourhood. This road is somewhat dangerous for cyclists as people a) speed, and b) it's only 2 lanes. I was informed by the parks department that this connection is currently placed as a Unfunded Missing Link - the people of Copperfield and New Brighton would love to see this pathway completed to make our commute to work via bicycle a much safer and easier ride.
